Lula Belle Designs was started by Cheryl Peer-Russey, a mom dissatisfied with corporate life after mommyhood.  She bought a sewing machine and with the help and knowledge of a few friends, taught herself to sew.  Within a few weeks Lula Belle Designs was born.  Lula Belle Designs started out simply with one product, the Tushy Tote.  After adding a few complimentary products like the deluxe changing pad, the pacifier lasso and the Chalkdoodle Mat,  Cheryl was getting the fabric bug and needed an outlet for the many beautiful fabrics she was aquiring.

 

Within a few months, she and a friend (and also a children's accessory designer) set out to design and manufacturer a line of children's clothing.  Combining their two business names, 2 Lulas Boutique was born.   Six months into what she thought was an awesome beginning, sadly her partner had to make the decison to take a job outside of the home.  Loving what she was doing and what she had started, Cheryl decided to continue on with the 2 Lulas adventure on her own ~ the rest is history!

 

When she is not busy with family and life in general, Cheryl runs this little business in the Handmade corner of the world.  She strives to bring fresh, modern, fun fabrics and practical styles to the world of children's clothing and accessories. 

 

Cheryl's inspiration comes from her two beautiful, loving, hug-able children, Caroline (6) and Owen (3), and her very patient husband, Derek.
